I am passionate about human connection
aided by the creative spirit
I have cultivated my passion for community centric creative endeavours through exploring diverse industries and roles. From developing training seminars on LGBTQIA+ history and inclusion, to managing a 15,000 sq. ft. commercially reused historic building, I have placed human connection at the forefront of what I do while embodying the efficiency and tenacity needed to be successful.
My desire to understand experiences of culture led me to further my education. Completing a unique program like Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship at the University of Leeds in the UK provided me organizational leadership skills with a focus on cultural enterprises and organizations that creatively shape our world.
I look to contribute my unique blend of analytical and process driven management and dedication to the creative experiences in life to collaborate, envision, and execute innovative solutions.

Core Values
Creativity |
Creativity extends beyond the mere act of producing something new. It encompasses a determination to discover innovative solutions through unconventional means, to confront ambiguity and uncertainty, and to dedicate the necessary time and effort to develop these ideas into extraordinary outcomes.
|
Adventure |
Adventure lies in the gap between recognizing a problem or evaluating a risk, and taking action. It's in that space where one has the chance to embrace the unknown and act on it. A true adventurer is one who is willing to step out of their comfort zone, even when it's challenging or uncertain, and take ownership of the journey, the successes, and the failures that come with it.
|
Authenticity |
My unique skills and abilities are inherently connected to my whole self, and I believe that authenticity is the cornerstone of meaningful work and relationships. Whether working with organizations or individuals, I prioritize transparency and honesty. Ultimately, I believe that embracing authenticity is the key to achieving true success and fulfilment in all areas of life.
|
Beauty |
Valuing beauty is the act of taking the time to appreciate the visual aspects of the world around us. It is similar to the saying "stop and smell the roses," which encourages us to take a moment to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. When we take the time to appreciate beauty, it can help us to slow down and savor the moment.
|
Simplicity |
Life, work, and the world are complex, and I acknowledge that. However, I believe in the principle of simplicity, which encourages me to prioritize efficiency and significance. By making decisions with simplicity in mind, I find that my conversations are more meaningful and my personal and professional output is more productive..

Education
Culture, Creativity & Entrepreneurship MA
I decided to use the second half of COVID times to get my master's degree (baking bread would have been cheaper).
I choose the MA in Culture, Creativity & Entrepreneurship at the University of Leeds specifically because while providing practical training in arts administration and creative enterprise management it allowed me to dig my teeth into cultural theory and policy analysis. In the words of the program director:

In the words of the program director:
Culture and creativity play a fundamental role in the development of individuals, societies, and economies worldwide. This course allows you to explore how arts and creative enterprises work in theory and practice, as well as the impact they can have on individuals and communities. |
